Australia and New Zealand Tour 2022
Vishwaguruji's World Tour – Australia and New Zealand
During his tour of Australia and New Zealand, Vishwaguruji Swami Maheshwarananda, founder of Yoga in Daily Life, has been chanting the peace prayer and mantras for the protection of all children and victims of the ongoing war in Ukraine, including all the teachers, members, devotees and friends of Yoga in Daily Life in that region.
Since departing Europe in early September, Vishawaguruji has continued his World Peace Tour from India to Australia and New Zealand, after a long time of being unable to enter these countries, due to pandemic restrictions.
Australia
Landing on the western side of the Australian continent in the city of Perth, after some programs there, Vishwaguruji continued his journey east across this vast ancient land to Melbourne, Tasmania and Sydney. Vishwaguruji and a group of travelling devotees then headed north to the state of Queensland, for programs in the city of Brisbane and in towns on the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast.
His students and devotees in Australia have been waiting for the beautiful moment of his darshan (meeting, seeing each other) for such a long time – like a thirsty nomad arriving at a clean water fountain after a long journey in the desert. Vishwaguruji’s satsangs, lectures, words, and even his presence alone, can warm many hearts, and uplift and inspire others.

New Zealand
After three weeks on the "kangaroos’ island", he flew to the "kiwis' island", starting in Wellington, the capital city of New Zealand, followed by programs in nearby Raumati Beach on the Kapiti Coast, and then Auckland in the north. All three locations have Yoga in Daily Life Ashram Yoga Centres and have been providing classes to the public for many years.
Vishwaguruji was warmly welcomed by representatives from the Māori community and together with them, as well as local faith leaders, council members and Yoga in Daily Life teachers and students, commemorated the UN International Day of Non-Violence on the Kapiti Coast, where he planted two more World Peace Trees in New Zealand.
