Swamiji arrives to Croatia in April

His Holiness Vishwaguru Mahamandaleshwar Paramhans Swami Maheshwarananda travels to Croatia in April. The initiator of the first ever Peace Summit in Croatia, held in Zagreb in 2007, will start His four-day tour again in Zagreb, with the public lecture: "SPIRITUAL AWAKENING - ANAHAT CHAKRA".

This lecture is part of the series of lectures covering spiritual awakening and chakras that His Holiness Swamiji commenced 3 years ago. His Holiness will address the Zagreb audience with the subject of the Anahat Chakra, the centre of love and compassion, on Thursday April 19 in the Crystal Hall of the Westin Hotel in Zagreb.

From Friday April 20, until Sunday April 22, His Holiness Swamiji will hold an international Yoga Seminar, traditionally located on the Adriatic coast in Umag.

"Yoga in Daily Life" has already been practised for three decades in Croatia and has become even more widely known to the public through its numerous humanitarian activities and events.

His Holiness Swamiji donated funds raised through His previous lectures to Croatian charities/NGOs including: Lymphoma Patients Association; Association of Partially Sighted Persons "Dodir"; Cerebral Palsy and Poliomyelitis Patients Association; and the Association of Civil Victims of War in Croatia. Funds raised from this year's lecture in Zagreb will be donated for the construction of a girls' school in Jadan, India, through which "Yoga in Daily Life" is contributing to the achievement of the UN Millennium Goals. The right to girls' education is one of the important goals of the UN plan.
