Yoga Festival in Chakra park, Slovenia

Salutation to the Sun - Family Festival of Yoga in Nature, took place in Mozirski Gaj Park, in central Slovenia, on 10th June 2017, in celebration of International Yoga Day.

The full-day program included yoga practice for the general public, yoga for seniors (with Sadhvi Savitri), and a special children's program with workshops, music and yoga.

Swami Umapuri led a satsang and shared her words of wisdom. And Mrs. Bharti Gupta, from the Indian Embassy in Ljubljana, and Mr. Ivo Suhoveršnik, Mayor of Mozirje, also attended the event.

It was a beautiful sunny day with the blessing of some rain drops bringing refreshment, and everyone is already looking forward to the next Salutations to the Sun event in 2018.
