Swamiji's busy schedule took him from Delhi to many of Inidian YIDL ashrams (Kailash, Khatu, Jadan), to Udaipur, Ahmedabad, and even over to Mumbai, from where he returned back to Jadan. Wherever he went, he was accepted with great honor, respect and devotion, inherent to India and its people. The photo-coverage below shows some of his many activities.
On Sunday, February 6, 2005 an international Conference on "Sustainable Health and Word Peace" is taking place in India – at OM Vishwa Deep Gurukul Swami Maheshwarananda Ashram, Jadan, District Pali, Rajasthan. This conference is organised by the Yoga in Daily Life Foundation, New Delhi, and has been endorsed by Mahamandaleshwar Paramhans Swami Maheshwarananda. The focus of the conference will be: Healthy Nourishment – "healthy nourishment creates a healthy body and a healthy mind, and subsequently it creates healthy families, healthy communities and a healthy planet, where all can live in peace and harmony."
On February 17, the first day of his six-day official visit to India, President of Austria Heinz Fischer and his wife Margit met with His Holiness Mahamandaleshwar Sri Swami Maheshwarananda in New Delhi. Heinz Fischer is the first-ever head of Austria to visit India.
On February 25, 2005, His Holiness Mahamandaleshwar Paramhans Swami Maheshwarananda met the President of the Republic of Slovenia, Dr. Janez Drnovsek, in Slovenia's capital Ljubljana.
The renowned Gallus Hall in Ljubljana, Slovenia, seating about 1400 visitors, was filled up to the last place. Swamiji began to sing OM and there was complete silence. Then Swamiji spoke, "When we speak about Divine Consciousness, we somehow dwell in it, it is a similar process as when a diver dives deep into the sea to get the pearls. In this way I will now dive into Divine Consciousness and bring you the Divine Knowledge".
