21st of June became the International Day of Yoga in 2015. To mark the occasion this year, with sponsorship from India and many countries around the world, a united yoga practice was performed in Slovenia which created a new world record.

Yoga in Daily Life associations across the Czech Republic joined in with the global celebrations of the 2nd International Day of Yoga on 21 June 2016.
The 21st of June has been declared by the United Nations as the International Day of Yoga – and Yoga in Daily Life centers around the world will provide free yoga classes on this day and/or the weekend before.
